School and University Entrepreneurship Club prepares the next generation of trailblazers with leadership capabilities that will help them make a huge impact on the world. By providing them with leadership development and entrepreneurship courses at an early age, our leaders leave ready to take on the world by force.
School and University Entrepreneurship Club is unique in Togo, we have secured authorization from the National Ministry of Education as well as the regional and local education directors’ signatures to implement the club in all public high schools in Lome, the capital city of Togo.
For the school year 2022-2023, the program is being implemented in the following high schools:
- Tokoin High School
- Baguida High School
- College Protestant
- Adidogome High School
We intend to reach more than 1000 students within 2 years of the project implementation and made them aware of the importance of entrepreneurship. We are expecting to launch 25 school and university entrepreneurship clubs, including 20 in high schools in Lomé and 5 high schools in the interior of the country within the 2 years of the project’s implementation. We intend to also implement 5 clubs in 5 universities, 2 public, and 3 private within 2 years of the project implementation.
The goals of the program are:
- To bring the importance of entrepreneurship to the attention of students
- Equipping young people to become entrepreneurs
- Give students the opportunity to learn about the different financing mechanisms available in the public and private sectors in the country.
- Giving students tools on steps of writing a business plan
- Create a Partnership framework with the National Ministry of Education
